Case Details

Although the furniture was damaged by the move, the business denied it. What should I do?

Housing
I moved using a packing entrusting set. After unpacking, there were scratches on the LCD screen of the TV and the glass surface of the watch, and there were also scratches on the table that I had entrusted the business to open the package. When I called the operator immediately, I was told, “Was the scratch already there before?” What should I do?

Advice

Check your luggage and house immediately during or after moving, and immediately notify the business operator if you notice a problem. Under the standard moving contract, the business must compensate for any damage unless it proves it has not neglected it. However, you must be careful, as if you do not notify within 3 months from the date the luggage is delivered, the business's responsibility will be lost.
